Antwerp Statue Bar
One place we love in Antwerp is a bar we call "The Statue Bar", the real name I believe is "Het Elfde Gebod" which seems to translate as The Eleventh Commandment. I've been told by those in political circles the eleventh commandment is "Thou Shalt Not Get Caught" which is quite fitting. The bar is full of religious statues from all over Belgium, which have been damaged in some way or another...one lacking a hand, another a nose. They line every wall space and look down on us while we down our Kwak beers. Many people think the Belgium beers are a religious experience anyway, this just takes it to the next level!
